Last Week of School!

Hello everyone! We can't believe that it is the last week of school! This year has flown by and we have had the best time getting to know and teach all of your amazing learners. We have a lot of fun end of the year activities planned this week, so please take some time to read our last bunch of updates!

Summer Learning: We have compiled some activities for you to access over the summer to keep your learner's brain fresh! You can access those activities from this presentation - Summer Learning. 

Yearbooks: There are a few yearbooks for sale in the office. They are $25. We will be signing yearbooks as a grade on Tuesday at 10:00. If your learner does not have a yearbook, we will be providing autograph pages for them. 

Last Day of School: Thursday is the last day of school. The learners will be dismissed at 12:15. 

Week of May 21st

Hello everyone! We had so much fun enjoying Field Day on Friday! We can't believe that we only have two more weeks of school left!  The end of the year brings a lot of fun activities at TCE, so please make sure to read all of the updates we have for you this week!

Things happening at TCE:

• Field Trip: We will be taking a Field Trip to the Fort Worth Zoo on May 24th. The learners will need to wear their orange grade level t-shirt and comfortable walking shoes. They will need to bring a sack lunch. If your child needs to purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria, please let their homeroom teacher know. 
• Last Day of School: The last day of school is May 31st. Dismissal on that day is 12:15, not 12:50.

Curriculum Updates:

Math: We’re finishing the year with fun and engaging activities to wrap up math!

Science: We are wrapping up our Life Science unit. The learners will be exploring food webs and ecosystems. 

Social Studies: We’re finishing the year with fun and engaging activities to wrap up social studies!

ELAR: We’re finishing the year with fun and engaging activities to wrap up language arts!
