Meet Mrs. Bass

My name is Heather Bass, and I am thrilled and very excited to be teaching 4th grade this year at Town Center. This is my 20th year of teaching, and I have experience in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th. It’s certainly great to be a Town Center Texan!

I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. I then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from USC in May of 1998. In 2002, I became a Nationally Board Certified teacher. Getting the shock of a lifetime in a very humbling way, I was the recipient of the National Milken Educators Award in October of 2008. I achieved National Board Re-Certification 2012. In addition, I am Gifted and Talented endorsed and recently added a supplemental teaching certificate in ESL.

I am married, and my husband and I have three wonderful children – Grace, 14 years old, Trey, 12 years old, and Laney, 8 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, reading and spending time with family and friends. This summer, we relocated to Coppell from Charleston, South Carolina. I am looking forward to an excellent year of teaching and learning. GO TEXANS!

Meet Miss Taylor

My name is Jenna Taylor and I am so excited to be teaching at TCE for my fourth year!
I grew up in Garland, TX in a blended family. I am lucky enough to have the support of three wonderful parents: my mother, father, and stepfather. I also have three brothers and one sister (a younger “half” brother, an older brother, an older stepbrother, and an older stepsister).
During my first two years of college I moved to east Texas where I had the amazing opportunity to attend Kilgore College as a Rangerette. I then packed my bags and moved west where I attended Texas Tech University. In May 2014, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Education and began teaching in Coppell ISD that fall.
When I’m not working, I love practicing yoga at CorePower Yoga in Dallas (I have been certified to teach yoga for two years now, but still haven’t!) cooking, reading, catching up on my TV shows, and spending time with friends and my yellow Labrador puppy, Hallie!

Meet Miss Natherson

This will be my tenth year to teach, and I feel so lucky to get to be a part of the TCE Community. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!) with a degree in Education in 2008, and I've been at TCE ever since. I am passionate about education, and I love my job. I believe that all children can learn and succeed in a positive and welcoming environment. I want my classroom to be a place where learners feel safe to express their opinions, ask questions, and reach for their dreams.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite hobbies include: painting, reading, exercising, hiking, learning to use my fancy camera, traveling, trying to teach myself calligraphy, and listening to live music. I also enjoy volunteering when I can. I am currently involved with The Bridge Homeless Shelter and am an advocate for Dallas CASA. I get a lot of joy from giving back, and I believe in the power of service. I also love spending time outside, and I especially love the rain. I collect quotes, and have been doing so for years. Send some my way if you have any favorites!

I grew up right here in Coppell, and I am thankful to still be a part of the community. I have a large and blended family, and they are a big part of my life!

The pictures above are from this summer when I went to Europe for the first time!

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I am so excited to learn all about you and your family!

Meet Miss Seifert

Hi! My name is Kate Seifert and this is my fifth year of teaching and my fourth year to be teaching at Town Center. I am so excited to get to share in your learner’s 4th grade year!

I grew up in Coppell, Texas with my wonderful parents. I graduated from Coppell High School in 2008. In high school, I was a part of the show choir, Vivace! After high school I attended the University of Arkansas (GO HOGS!), where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in 2012 and my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2013. I still try to make it back to Fayetteville at least once a year for a Razorback football game!

In my spare time I love spending time with my friends and family, watching movies, spending time outside walking or riding my bike, and listening to great music!

I am so excited to share this year with your family!

Meet Miss Peccarelli!
