In Language Arts, we have wrapped up our historical fiction unit by exploring our book clubs books. Learners wrapped up their book club books by choosing a meaningful quote and the book's theme. We will continue practicing expository writing and will start our new unit on research.
In Math, we will begin our data and graphing unit. They will learn how to look at stem and leaf plots, frequency tables, and dot plots.
In Science, we will begin our new unit on Earth's weather. We will be focusing on qualitative and quantitative data while investigating the weather in Coppell. We will be diving into the Water Cycle and each step as well.
In TX History, we are continuing our exploration on Texas' journey to becoming its own state. Learners will understand the responsibility Texas had when deciding whether to join the US or remain independent.
