Week of January 11th-15th

Please read the Town Center Parent Newsletter from Ms. Martin.

Virtual Learners:

Supply Pick Up: For this 3rd nine weeks, we will be having a supply pick up for our grade level. As a part of Social Studies- Texas History, the students will be doing a reader's theater that they will need a printed paper script. Students will not be able to toggle back and forth between a zoom and a digital script, which is why they must have a printed copy to read from. We will offer a digital copy of the script through Schoology (and attached to this email) that can be printed out at home if you have that availability. If you would like a printed copy from us, please come to campus to collect a packet for your learner.
The scripts will be in a designated bin outside of the front office door at the front loop. There is no need to call ahead; the packet will be ready for you to grab independently. You can pick up a script at your leisure between the days of Tuesday 1/19- Friday 1/22.

TCE Curbside will be on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:30pm in the Front Loop.

Face to Face Learners: With the charged iPad, we would like your learner to bring their charging cord to and from school each day just in case it is needed, their maskwater bottlesnack, lunch (if not buying) and supplies (if not already with us on campus). Your learner is more than welcome to bring their personal hand sanitizer from home if they would prefer.

Free Lunch All Year
The Child Nutrition Department is happy to announce that free meals for all in-person elementary students and free bundle meals for virtual learners have been extended through the rest of the 2020-2021 school year. In-person learners are able to go through the cafeteria line as usual and will not be charged for meals (snack food and dessert such as ice cream are available for an additional cost). We are still asking that virtual learners sign up for bundle meals via the Bundle Meal Signup Form to help give us an accurate count each week.

Report Card Access

As a reminder, report cards for 4th and 5th grade learners, parents will need to log into the Home Access Center (HAC) to view grades. This can be done using this link HAC. Once logged in, you will click on the picture/word that says "Grades" (located in the middle towards the top of the page). Once you click on "Grades" you will see a tab labeled "Report Card". This is where you will see the report card final grades for 4th and 5th grade learners.
