In Math, we have been diving right into fractions this week. Learners have been exploring how to represent fractions and compare them to decimals. We are excited to use some excited tools to explore fractions next week, like the GarageBand app and the Ozobots!

In Science, we are continuing our Earth's surface unit. This week we have been working on an Argument-Driven Inquiry Lab about Water Erosion. We will wrap up our Earth's Surface unit next week.

In Reading and Language Arts, learners will continue writing an expository text over a special person in their lives, then begin a new expository topic. We will also be wrapping up our unit over analyzing and interpreting characters. Our spelling focus will be silent letters and our grammar focus will be adverbs.

In Social Studies, we will continue the motivations and impact of Spanish and French explorers, as well as discuss Spanish Missions.
