Home Access Center (Parent Portal)
Many parents at Curriculum Night were wondering about how to access the Home Access Center login. Our secretary, Laura Fairchild, has let us know that you are able to log in to this link using the same login you used for summer registration (Infosnap was the previous name). You should be able to try the "forgot password" button if the login is not working. You can also try putting in a help ticket with the link on the site if the login is not working.

Schoology
If you are interested in creating a parent account for Schoology please see this helpful Google Doc for more information.

Sonic Night Fundraiser will be Tuesday, September 24th.
PTO Meeting will be Tuesday, October 1st.

There is no school on Monday, October 14th.

In Writing, we will continue working on personal narratives and revising our writing. We will test for spelling words with the long a spelling ei, ai, ay and will explore irregular verbs using our mentor sentence.

In Reading, we will continue our lessons on growing ideas about characters. We will practice supporting our ideas with evidence from the text. Learners have come home with the learning progressions and self assessment rubrics. Please click here for a digital copy of the learning progressions.

In Math, we will continue our unit on place value of decimals. Learners will also begin presenting their place value projects.

In Science, students are going to begin exploring measuring tools.. They will first complete a "crash course" on how to use various measuring tools, such as mass, volume, buoyancy, etc. They will continue working on their stations this week.

In TX History, students are continuing to learn about the four regions of Texas through their Cornell Notes. We will start creating a Regions of TX blog to showcase what we have learned so far.
