Fourth Grade Program
Fourth grade will be performing a winter program called “Penguins on Parade." The performance is set for Tuesday, December 17. We will perform once in the morning for the school at 8:00 AM, and then once in the evening for our families and friends at 6:00 PM. We would love to invite you to attend and support the hard work our learners have put into our program. Also, if you are interested in helping out with decorations, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher or to Mrs. Trigg, our music teacher (ctrigg@coppellisd.com).

Writer's Workshop Presentation

Yearbooks Sales
Our yearbook sales have officially begun! Our yearbooks are distributed in the spring and include class pictures, individual photos of each learner, and fun candid shots from the year. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please click on the link below. You can also purchase yearbook ads with the same link.

2019-2020 Creative Writing Competition
It's time for the 2019-2020 Creative Writing Competition sponsored by the Coppell Gifted Association. This will be the 12th year CGA has run this competition, and we'd love to have our 4th and 5th graders participate. Please see below for the link to register and important details.
 Thanksgiving Break with No School November 25th-29th
Penguins on Parade Program- December 17th 8am & 6pm. 






In Writing, we will continue exploring our non-fiction writing. Moreover, we will be organizing, editing, and revising our information books. In grammar, we will continue working on commas. The spelling rule this week is "double consonant in the middle.

In Reading, we will continue exploring non-fiction texts. We practice identifying ourselves as readers and researchers.

In Math, we will continue our unit on division using various strategies. 

In Science, A/B will be completing the electricity ports on Numbers to create different types of circuits. C/D/E will be wrapping up their unit with a friction lab and their Unit 2 Test on Thursday. Learners will come home with a paper review next week, but linked is the electronic copy and answer key

In TX History, we will continue our Unit 2 about Europeans settlers in Texas. We will continue working on our rhombus poem and advertisement to relate to the early explorers and settlers of Texas.
