Last Weekend for Yearbooks Sales
*Yearbooks can only be purchased online this year. They were not part of the our trailpasses or supplies, so please make sure to order them before the sales close in January.
Our yearbook sales have officially begun! Our yearbooks are distributed in the spring and include class pictures, individual photos of each learner, and fun candid shots from the year. In Language Arts, we will continue our unit on historical fiction by exploring our book clubs books. Moreover, we will review capitalization and punctuation in grammar and learn about irregular verb tense in spelling.
In Math, we have started our new unit on fractions. We will look at fractions and decimals, fractions on a number line, decomposing fractions, and pictorial models.
In Science, we will be finishing up our Unit 3: Earth's surface. We will be taking our Unit 3 assessment this week and then completing our HEAT maps to compare our pre and post tests. We will then begin our Unit 4: Earth's Resources.
In TX History, we will wrap up our conversation on the TX Revolution and its aftermath.
