4th and 5th grade heard from author Elly Swartz this week!
In Language Arts, we will continue our unit on historical fiction by exploring our book clubs books. Learners will also start their book club projects to showcase their learning. We will learn about coordinating conjunctions in grammar and practice frequently misspelled words in spelling.
In Math, we have started our new unit on fractions. We will look at fractions and decimals, fractions on a number line, decomposing fractions, and pictorial models.
In Science, we will be diving into Unit 4: Earth's Resources with looking for examples of renewable and non-renewable resources around TCE and other worldly examples.
In TX History, we will wrap up our conversation on the TX Revolution and its aftermath and beginning Unit 4 about Texas Government.
